Echo Valley is a thriller directed by Michael Pearce from a script by Brad Ingelsby, the writer of Mare of Easttown. Julianne Moore plays Kate, who trains horses on a farm in Pennsylvania. Sweeney plays her daughter Claire, who has an addiction and a habit of coming home only when she needs something.

One night Claire arrives covered in blood that is not her own, and Kate has to decide how far she will go to protect her. The part is unglamorous and often unlikeable, a choice Sweeney has made several times since Reality. Apple TV+ released the film in June 2025.
