She bends slightly forward, long honey-toned hair falling past her shoulders, eyes lowered and mouth caught in the half-smile of someone concentrating on a signature rather than a camera. Around her the carpet glows a hot orange under stage lighting, throwing warm color across dark suits and the raised arms of the crowd. Two security men flank her, one watching the line of fans, the other reaching in with quiet, practiced attention. Phones rise everywhere, their screens small blue flares in the dusk, and shoulders and curls blur across the foreground as the crowd presses forward. It is the familiar choreography of a premiere line: a few seconds of contact, a pen, a scrap of paper, and a face that keeps giving them anyway.

This photograph was taken on 17 October 2025 at the BFI London Film Festival, where Christy was shown a month after its premiere in Toronto. Sweeney met the crowd on the red carpet and then introduced the film on stage. She plays the boxer Christy Martin, and is also one of the producers of the film.
