Caught between the barrier and the crowd, she turns toward someone calling her name, one hand lifted and a finger pointing as if to say she has seen them and will get there. She wears a soft tan coat over a lavender-lit top, her long honey-brown hair loose and falling past her shoulders. Around her the evening presses in: a dark-suited minder watching the line with a flat, professional stare, a crew member in a puffer jacket working the far end, a companion in black just ahead of her. Phones rise in the foreground, blurred into pale shapes by the artificial light that washes everything in cool blue and warm pink. Her expression is open, attentive, unhurried, entirely fixed on the person she has spotted.
This photograph was taken on 17 October 2025 at the BFI London Film Festival, where Christy was shown a month after its premiere in Toronto. Sweeney met the crowd on the red carpet and then introduced the film on stage. She plays the boxer Christy Martin, and is also one of the producers of the film.
