The smile is unforced, eyes crinkling as she leans slightly toward someone she cannot quite see in the crush. Behind her, a suited companion and a broad-shouldered minder keep a steady, watchful distance, while the foreground dissolves into silhouettes, phone cameras and blurred heads. It is the ordinary magic of a premiere line: a few seconds of attention, given generously, multiplied across a hundred screens.

This photograph was taken on 17 October 2025 at the BFI London Film Festival, where Christy was shown a month after its premiere in Toronto. Sweeney met the crowd on the red carpet and then introduced the film on stage. She plays the boxer Christy Martin, and is also one of the producers of the film.
