She turns back toward the cameras with an easy, unguarded smile, chin tipped slightly, hair falling straight past one shoulder while loose strands drift across her cheek. The jacket is cream and crisply collared, softened by sculptural fabric blooms and tawny leaf appliques that climb the shoulder like something pressed in a book. Her makeup keeps to warm tones: flushed cheeks, a deep red lip that catches the light, blue eyes bright against the dark backdrop. Behind her, sponsor logos and festival lettering repeat in white across navy, the familiar geometry of a press wall in Toronto. The lighting is flat and generous, the kind that flattens nothing and lets a genuine expression carry the frame on a busy festival afternoon.
This photograph was taken at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024, at the world premiere of Eden. Ron Howard directed the film, and Sweeney plays Margret Wittmer, one of the settlers on the island of Floreana. She walked the carpet with the director and with her fellow cast members, among them Ana de Armas.
